Avoiding Health Risks Is Kids' Stuff, Too

Childhood obesity is putting many children at risk for what were formerly considered "grown-up" diseases. Insulin resistance -- historically a condition found in adults and teenagers -- now affects children as young as 4 and 5 years old.

"Children who are overweight, obese or have a family history of diabetes are developing type 2 diabetes much younger than ever," says Kimberly Minesinger, DO, family care practitioner.

¡Hola! MarttiTM Speaks Your Language

Language can be a barrier when receiving adequate medical services. If your physician is not fluent in your language, he or she may not be able to provide you with appropriate healthcare.

Seniors Should
Act Promptly

Most of us with chronic illnesses, including diabetes and heart disease, learn to manage our conditions with medications, lifestyle modifications and exercise. Most days, we feel fine.
We're Springing Ahead With Advancements

Welcome to Health News. This spring, we're staying active at Corona Regional Medical Center as we continue bringing advanced healthcare to our Corona/Norco neighbors.

  Watch Us Grow!

Corona Regional Medical Center is keeping pace as the Corona/Norco population grows. CRMC improvements include an expanded Emergency Room (ER) and new Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

  Osteoporosis Also Threatens Men

Osteoporosis -- a progressive loss of bone mass that leads to fragile, brittle bones -- typically is considered a women's condition. Men, however, also can be at risk.
